More Tips !!
- "To keep skin soft and smooth, especially in winter, avoid hot water in the bath and shower, and apply Burt's Bees Baby Bee Apricot Baby Oil to damp skin before slathering on a rich body cream. This will keep skin on all parts of the body nourished and glowing." -- Sonya Dakar
- "I've done this trick to give Ashlee Simpson-Wentz a smoky eye in a pinch. Use a dark plum or deep green pencil all over the lid, inner rim and lower lash line and smudge it out with a cotton swab." -- Mally Roncal
- "To care for end-of-summer hair, [clients like Evangeline Lilly] coat theirs midway down to the ends with a deep conditioner first, followed with a bodifying shampoo on the roots only." -- Clyde Haygood
- "For a quick, clean way to avoid mascara smudges, hold a plastic spoon under the upper and lower lashes to shield the rest of your eye makeup. It fits right under your eye, and you just throw it in the trash when you're done." -- Carmindy
- "Extend the life of your eyeliner by setting it with powder and going over it with a matching shade of shadow. It makes the eyeliner bulletproof." -- Mally Roncal
- "Exfoliating is the most important thing you can do to make skin prettier. By cleansing your face every night with a fresh washcloth -- which is more sanitary than reusing a sponge -- and using enzyme-based masks on a regular basis, the outer layer of dead cells is eliminated, leaving the newest, softest skin." -- facialist Nerida Joy
Tips of The Day!!
- "A lot of my celebrity clients like to mix my omega oils with their body foundation for a sheer, non-cakey finish." -- Sonya Dakar
- "Those with hard-to-reach blond lash roots can use a very fine-tip black liquid liner to accomplish what a bulkier mascara wand cannot by painting color directly onto individual lashes. The smaller the tip and the handle, the better." -- Carmindy
- "To make liquid liner less intimidating to use, create a liner 'stencil' by going over the lash line with taupe pencil first. Then apply liquid liner over that." -- Jillian Dempsey
- "Silk scarves, rollers, bonnets and pillowcases used at night help my clients, like Gabrielle Union, maintain their glossy styles longer. Cotton dries hair out and undoes the hairstyle. Silk keeps the curl and shape of your hair intact." -- Kimberly Kimble
- "Bring attention to your eyes by using a contrasting shade of mascara. Wearing burgundy or navy instead of ordinary black or brown is a great way to accentuate your eye color." -- Jillian Dempsey

Hats Off To You !
There is an assumption that hats are correlated and connected to British weddings and cultures, rather, they are a trendy items that can add elegance to any outfit. Since hats can be an identifier for any professionalism ( e.c. chefs), so do women’s hats. Additionally, we can see more cultures adopting the tradition of hats, and the obsession is accelerating gradually. Therefore, it is fascinating to adopt new ideas for the season and to be recognized in your own way!!

Dark Glossy Eyes by Jordan Liberty
Kawai *^*
Never get enough of Eico Hanamura illustrations. The 60’s girls comics are familiar to all Japanese, and it’s been blended with their cultures for years. This character had started in 1958 by Hanamura san and was part of our sweet memories ever since. Personally, I always had fascination with this character and it’s nurturing to recall my childhood memories once in a while!!
Who said women are selfish?
"Women wish to be loved not because they are pretty, or good, or graceful, or intelligent, but because they are themselves."
It’s not surprising to know that women to tend to be generous and kind in any aspect. This is the fundamental of our personalties and cultures where ever we go!! According to Barclay’s Wealth Study in 2009, women tend give away a higher percentage of their wealth than their male counterparts in most cultures . Additionally, the 2010 World Giving Index demonstrated that in most societies a larger percentage of women are donors !!

We Are Counting on You !!
Krissy Kobata was like any other fun- loving , 29 year old, up until 2008 when she was diagnosed with a blood disorder called Myelodysplastic Syndrom ( MDS). Typically MDS is diagnosed in people who are typically 65+, Krissy is a vibrant 28 year old woman! The only cure is a bone marrow transplant. Ethnicity is a key factor in finding a bone marrow match and krissy's family is of mixed heritage- Japanese and caucasian- also known as Hapa, has made it more difficult for her to find a donor match. More diverse donors are needed! Especially Hapa donors! As of yet, non of Krissy's family members have been a match and so we are asking for the help and generosity of others to save our Krissy's life!
Please if you haven't' registered as a bone marrow donor, do so as soon as possible. Her life and many, many others depend on people like you who are willing to help a stranger!

Bad Breath !!
Bad breath, or halitosis are all terms used to describe a noticeably unpleasant odor exhaled on the breath. Usually, the consumption of foods that contains garlic and onions can lead to bad breath because these foods are absorbed quickly into our bloodstream, and transferred to our lungs and exhaled.
According to many studies, most breath odor comes from:
- food particles remains in the mouth, and it becomes a great source for the bacteria that can cause bad breath.
- It can be poor oral health, periodontal disease , not to mention smoking & tobacco products.
- It can be caused by medical condition of the stomach, lungs and bloodstream.
- Additionally, it can be related to xerostomia (dry mouth). When our mouth is dry, saliva production decreases, leaving the mouth’s natural ability to clean itself impaired.
Ways to Fight Against Bad Breath
- Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth thoroughly after every meal .
- Avoid breath mints and mouthwashes that contain alcohol as they lead to dry the mouth and provide a great environment for the bacteria.
- Consume raw celery or carrots .
- Avoid alcohol and caffeine consumption, which can dry the mouth.
- Quit smoking. Tar and nicotine can build up on the surface of the teeth, tongue and cheeks, and dry the mouth.
- Chlorophyll is a natural breath freshener and is found in leafy green vegetables like parsley.
- A few drops of peppermint or tea tree oil can be applied to the tongue or toothbrush to help freshen the breath.
- Baking soda is an old recipe for fighting bad breath.
